Paul Eckersley was recommended by my decorator for covering over a stippled Artex ceiling in the master bedroom of my new home. Paul was booked up for two weeks but luckily for me due to a cancellation he was able to fit me in earlier.
Paul arrived early and was well into the plastering by the time i arrived at the new property with my daughter. The Artex ceiling had been bonded, and the first skim coat had been applied. He had also started on another task i had discussed with my decorator. He had skimmed some plaster board on the stairs ceiling which had just been stripped the night before.
Paul was very friendly and was great around my 2 year old. He introduced his colleague Peter who is reviewed in another article. Paul was realistic about what could be done within the day. He explained my options for various areas of the property and took pride in his work.
Paul was efficient and within 6 hours had finished two large plastering jobs (20 square meters of ceilings) and three small walls were skimmed (4 square meters).
I am very happy with the quality of the plastering and the price charged. Parts and labour for two plasterers and 6 hours work came to just £190. They even gave me a £10 discount to put in my daughters piggy bank. My partner was very impressed with their work and there professional attitude in general.
